 A Day of Healing for Helping Professionals

Witnessing intense client pain, navigating stressful workplaces, and managing hectic personal lives places helping professionals at risk for compassion fatigue and burnout. Please join Lara Krawchuk, MSW, LCSW, MPH for a unique, healing retreat in the beautiful countryside of Chester County.   Together we will review the root causes of compassion fatigue and practice creative self-care techniques.  Self-Care practice opportunities include:  

*Journaling for Healing *Mindfulness Meditation * Guided Imagery * Healing Rituals *Self-Care Planning

We will return to our lives and clients rejuvenated and refreshed.  Skills practiced are applicable to use with a variety of clients.  Give THIS gift of self-care today!

Who: Our facilitator is Lara Krawchuk, MSW, LCSW, MPH is Founder and CEO of Healing Concepts, LLC.  She is a therapist in West Chester PA and an adjunct professor for University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice.   She teached many classes around Clnical Social Work Practice, Death, Dying and Terminal Illness and Loss Across a Lifes Cycle.  She lecturers nationally on issues of grief, loss, physical illness & caregiving, stress management, guided imagery, creative healing and compassion fatigue, and professional self-care.  Lara recently contributed two chapters to Robert Neimeyer's latest  two books- Techniques of Grief Therapy.  She is available for therapy, consultation, supervision, workplace memorial facilitation, and workshop presentation and can be reached at 610-209-3111 or healing.concepts@yahoo.com for more information.

Participants: Retreat is open to all helping professional with a desire to deeply explore issues of compassion fatigue and self-care.

What:  One person-$175/Groups $150 pp (2 or more signing up together)-Fee includes lunch, snacks, materials and a truly fabulous location

Professional Supervision Groups 

Whether you are working towards an LCSW or simply want to enhance your existing clinical skills; clinical supervision is an excellent choice to support your professional growth!  I am a warm, engaging and creative teacher who deftly helps professionals of all experience levels think creatively about their work and grow to a new level of clinical expertise.  I have taught clinical social work for many years and look forward to supporting a new group of supervisees in 2016!

I am uniquely qualified to provide supervision towards the LCSW due to my decade long experience teaching clinical social work practice combined with my extensive and varied clinical practice.  

Supervision groups will focus on clinical excellence, integrating theory and clinical practice, supporting losses in diverse client populations, and creative healing techniques.

Supporting an individual or family in grief can be challenging in our fast paced world.
